edwin Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Hello everyone, I'm adding 2 lines of text under a dimension through Properties then text override. The placement of text is always middle in justification. Is it possible to arrange it in flush Left or Right? Using acad 2004 Thanks, Edwin Quote
Strix Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 should be - you need to access it through the dimstyles though (if I remember correctly) you're sure it isn't available on properties? Quote
edwin Posted November 18, 2008 Author Posted November 18, 2008 there is an option for text position horizontal/vertical in Properties but that's not what i am referring to. Quote
edwin Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 DDEDIT works but then the 2 lines of text under the dimension line shifts above. Everything goes above the dimension line. Quote
bonehead411 Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I've tried tweaking dimstyle settings and can't get it to justify left or right. The text will move to the left or right end of the dim line, but it remains centre justified. Is there a particular reason you need to edit the dim text to achieve the extra 2 lines? Is it not an option just to add the 2 lines as a separate mtext entity? Quote
