I used for mapping is to meet right position of material and always give material scale and position will not change wherever you move and rotate any position!But you will need to use mapping move in some case like as floor tiling!Then you will need to use mapping move for landscaping and especially for people.These like that manual UVW mapping and real world scale(..like as scaling (sizing) on the Material palette) in 3ds max.But manual UVW mapping from 3ds max is easy to handle to material scale and move are better than acad!
