BIGMIKE09281946 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Does anyone know how to export, or why we would even want too, a table that was imported from Excel? I can export a table that was created in AutoCAD to a .csv file. Just not the other. Quote
fuccaro Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I can export a table that was created in AutoCAD to a .csv file. Just not the other. ... and the csv file can be opened with Excel and from there you can do anything with it. If you imported the data from Excel, you can skip the first part -you already have the Excel file. Quote
BIGMIKE09281946 Posted November 23, 2008 Author Posted November 23, 2008 I am trying to understand that a table created with Excel can be imported, but not exported. And where is my Signature panel, Anyway? Quote

ziemerd Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 If you have already created a table in Excel then go to Draw > Table and you can create a data link to put it in your drawing. If you have a table in your drawing you can export it to a CSV and it can be opened by Excel. Let me know if you need step by step instructions. I want to type up the step by step for my own use so I can share that if you need it. Dawn Quote
