skipsophrenic Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Hi all, I've gone and lost my 3D practice book . I've still got the Bible, and AutoCAD for dummies ( did i just admit that) books. So i'm after a decent copy of "Mastering AutoCAD 2000" but can't find it anywhere. or a book along those lines. any ideas. I don't mind going for later publications BTW. (p.s. have found some but they were a bit in pieces) Quote
BOB'27T Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 I've got the 2004 3D Modeling book by Kalameja and Wilson. Will that one work? Quote
skipsophrenic Posted December 2, 2008 Author Posted December 2, 2008 Sure that'd be great what's the title? Anything up to 2008 no probs, it's if it's asking you to use acad '09 i'd get stuck. Quote
BOB'27T Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 It's AutoCAD 2004, 3D Modeling, A Visual Approach. It's published by Thomson Delmar Learning. Quote
lpseifert Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 If you're using 2008, you may want to opt for a book for 2007 or later; a lot of 3D stuff changed in 2007. Quote

If you're using 2008, you may want to opt for a book for 2007 or later; a lot of 3D stuff changed in 2007. True, but i'm just after the basic principals of 3D drawin at the moment, i'm having to re-learn what i've forgotten. Quote
BOB'27T Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 I'll send you my copy. I really don't use it for civil drafting. Quote
