Extend command question

Good morning,

I have a very quick and what I hope will be an easy question:

I have been trying to find the place in CAD 09 to change that allows the extend command to work automatically with the closest crossing elements in a drawing...

I can't seem to locate where I need to change this command so it will do that.

As it is, I have to manually extend one element so that it is in direct line with the second for the second to extend to it. But, when I work in 02, I am able to extend to a projected cross place from the next closest element.

I hope this made sense, and thank you so much in advance for your help,

Edgemode =1 maybe?

Also look at the command line when executing the edge command, there's options for Project and Edge, they may be what you want (in 2008 anyway...)
