BikeGuy Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 hey there; Has anyone experienced these two problems in autocad R07? First issue is that when I select objects, after I select the first object I move to select a second object and the first object selected is no longer dashed. The only way I can select more than one object at a time is with a crossing window. The second issue is that the snap-to is not always working. I always have object snap on, but sometimes it wont work and I have to type in the command (i.e. per, end). Any thoughts are appreciated. Quote
BikeGuy Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 Pickfirst controls whether selections are picked before or after a command. That's one I didn't know. Pickadd is the one that allows users to select multiple objects at once. I wonder which release that was introduced with? Since the 90s there's never been an option to supersede previous selections. thanks a lot Quote
rkent Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 I just looked at hyperpics.com and pickadd has been in the program since at least R12. Quote
Guest Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 I had this problem the other day. Try the HIGHLIGHT system variable. Set to 1 for on set to 0 for off. Quote
fuccaro Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Just as a side note: there is a tutorial on the CADTutor main page about selecting objects. Quote
