connecting and extruding 3d surfaces

Good day cad masters! i am trying to connect and extrude (like in max) 3d surfaces in autocad but it doesnt work... id like to know if there's any settings to be done to come up with what i want to do?

Dont think you can use the extrude command on surfaces.

Autocad and Max approach 3D in very different ways. The two programs are completely different in the way they allow you to manipulate your model. So the simple answer is no, you can't manipulate your Autocad model in the same manner that you would in Max.

do you have a specific example of what you are trying to do. sometimes it helps put things in perspective.
