Is there a variable so that my drawing reflects changes to linetypes in XREFS?

I'm working on a drawing with an XREF, I want to change the linetype in the XREF so that it updates in all drawings.

 

Is there a method that doesn't require me to detach and re attatch my XREF as I already have some layer overrides that I don't want to redo?

'visretain' Value '0' Will Let Your Changes Reflect With Reload Instead Od Dettach/attach Routine. But It Will Alos Overide Your Overrides.:? So Probably No Luck There:(
