can i create custom parts in MEP... just trying to decide if its good for the company...

Yes. I am assuming you are talking about MV parts with connections.

no i mean like i have my own symbols for 2d ductwork, there are no VRF units etc, is it possible to add these?

Of course. just make your own Block Library set and use Tool Palettes for organization and insert purposes. :)

but that would be like vanilla autocad, what i want to know is if you can make MVParts (i think that's what they're called)

maybe i just have to experiment and improvise... i'll look on how to make mvparts
