alijahed Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Hi All, When I mirror an object which has a text in it, the object and the text, are mirrored but the direction of the text still the same as before (and from my knowledge it controls by MIRRTEXT). But when I block that object with its text in it and then mirror that block the text direction mirrored. Is there any way to prevent this. Cheers Ali Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 You could create a separate block(rights and lefts), you could add the text as a block attribute, or you could make the block dynamic by adding a flip state instead of mirroring it. I personally recommend a combination of options 2&3. That way you can amaze your friends and confound your enemies! Quote

Thanks mate, Actually I know these methods but sometimes I ask myself these sort of question which in case happened. Just looking for something which can act like MIRRTEXT but on blocks! Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 No problem. I'm a bit of a dynamic block nut myself. I often find myself about to save a block when I realize it would be so much more useful if I just toss in a few basic parameters and visibility sets. Eventually I came to see the world as a complicated series of chained actions, with undefined property fields leaving me lost as to their meaning...cost me many a relationship... ...where was I...oh yes! Blocks! Quite useful those! Quote
