SSM and DWT

Ive created a template for my ssm and included fields where I want them in attributes not just text or mtext (thats the way it has to be for call-outs) for some reason when i create a new sheet for my sheet set the fields to not change. When i ddedit it shows what supposed to be there in the default but the page only shows the tag. how do i get it to show the default(which is the link to ssm) if this doesnt make sense let me know and Ill try to clarify. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure I understand. Did you create this template drawing while it was a sheet in your sheet set?

no, im trying to create a template for ssm with fields. So when i create a new sheet in my sheet set manager it has my title block with all the information linked in the fields to ssm. The fields that im creating are not showing when a new sheet is created. it shows the tag (they are attributes) but not the default(the only place to put a field and what should be showing) does that clarify it?

i fixed my problem. with templates and sheet set manager you dont need attributes, but with callout blocks and view lable blocks they need to be attributes
