spursnutter Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 OK so I am now getting into rendering a bit more and would like to know a few things about the Adv. Render Opt. 1. Exposure type. Automatic or Logarithmic. Does changing this setting make any difference and if so how much? 2. Phisical Scale. 1500.00. Not sure what the hell that means 3. Shadow Mode. Simple, Sorted or Segment. Can someone elaborate on these as to what difference they make to each other? 4. Processing. Tile Size. What the what now? Quote
ReMark Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 I'll give number three, Shadow Mode, a try. Simple = random shadows. Sorted = shadows generated, in order, from the object outward to the light. Segment = shadows generated along the ray of light. Simple shadows generate faster but may suffer image quality issues. ReMark Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 I think I found exactly what you're looking for. Use AutoCAD's help system and search on Advanced Render Setting Palette. Most of what you are asking about is covered there. No sense in my repeating. If you have a question that isn't covered in Help then come on back and post it. We'll give it another shot. OK? Quote
spursnutter Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 Thanks ReMark, Sorry for my ignorance but I do sometimes forget about the help system. I am still trying to learn more than my brain can cope with. I will take your comments and use them in a constructive way. Thank You! Quote
