Selecting items with a window

Hi

I am using AutoCAD LT 2007

I have a problem when when selecting items with a window.

If I select my items with a window, when I pan or zoom in the middle of drawing the window it only selects what you can see on the screen rather than selecting all the items in the window. this happens with both Left/right and right/left windows

Is there a varible that can be changed?

I don't believe there is anyway to correct that, it's like when you select items and then pan so some move out of the screen area then delete the selected items, the objects out of the viewable area do not delete, though they were once selected. I believe autocad cad only processes objects in the screen area... someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Ya I think it is just how acad works. Dont think there is anyway to fix it, for now

concur. I zoom in and click one corner then pan to the other corner. Before clicking I zoom out until I see all the objects and only then click.

I haven't been able to find a way around it.

Everybody deals with it. I think it's just part of AutoCAD's character.

As in the above. Just pick your corner and use the mouse to zoom out and in to the next corner; and finally zoom out before you select the last point.
