Where do can find the 3d solid modeling toolbar to do simple 3d objects likes spheres, etc...

I use a workspace set up in classic mode so I still get all my toolbars, you can also still call the commands on the command line. As of yet I have not located a solids tab fo the ribbon.

3D Primitives, as they are called, such as the Sphere, Cone, Wedge Box, etc, can all be accessed from the Ribbon in AutoCAD 2009. You must be in the 3D Modeling Workspace and on the Home tab. Look at the 3D Modeling Panel and notice the representation of a Cylinder on the left hand side of the panel. See the black down pointing arrow next to it? Click on it to access the drop-down menu with the six other choices available.

Hmm...I don't have a 3D modelling workspace, either the verticals are a bit different, or I just need to punch my CUI file into submission.

In vanilla AC 2009, lower right hand corner, there is an icon with a cog on it. It is used for Workspace Switching. Arch 2009 doesn't have this?

I have it, I just don't have any 3D Modeling workspaces. Not really worth breaking down right now as I call most 3D commands from the command line anyway.

I'm sure there are many nuances between the two programs that I am unaware of. Seems curious though. Afterall, standardization in vertical products would probably be beneficial. No matter. It is what it is. Thanks.
