bburson Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Hello Users, I'm having trouble deleting items in my drawing. When I'm zoomed extents the items are visible but I can't "pick" them. When I zoom in on them they disappear. The only way I've been able to get rid of 'em is to create a new drawing, window only what I need, then go back and overwrite the old drawing; i'ts a pain. Can someone give some advice? It would really be appreciated, thanks..... Quote
Cad64 Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Is this an Autocad question or a 3DS Max question? Quote
bburson Posted December 19, 2008 Author Posted December 19, 2008 I'm sorry, I shoulda specified. I'm using AutoCAD version 2009. Quote
Raggi_Thor Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Try this. Zoom in to what you want to keep. Then start the command Erase. Answer "ALL" on the Select Objects question. Then type "R" for Remove and select with a window (not crossing window!) the items you want to keep. Press Enter to finish. Quote
CyberAngel Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 What kinds of objects are these that disappear when you zoom in on them? Could they be images? Quote
ReMark Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Maybe the OP opened a drawing that had some geomarkers in it. The darn things will drive you crazy trying to zoom in on them and trying to erase them (which you can't). Quote
nissari Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 hi bburson I also having the same problem anyone can help us. and also i can't select and view the layout display line. Quote
ReMark Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Blipmode and grid are both off? I'm not sure what you mean by "can't select and view the layout display line?" Could you elaborate? Thanks. Quote
