I'm not sure what you're asking. You want to add more lines to the stairs shown?

You can radius the corners of a rectangle using the Fillet command. Type to change the radius.

If you're drawing the stairs in AutoCAD you can use the Array command or Copy or even Offset.

AutoCAD has still not added the ability to import a PDF as a DWG, but apparently its on their 'to-do' list.

In the meantime you can try a PDF to DWG converter. I've never used these so I can't offer any advice on them.

you cna not import pdf in acad directly, but I have found workaround. open the pdf & in print dialoguebox select 'dwf writer' as printer & selct the paper sizes carefully. so it will print the file to scale in dwf & in acad 2008 onwards, we have the facility to bring in the dwf file as an underlay in the draiwng. I use this method to bring the hand sketches in acad all the time.
