Viz has been discontinued and replaced with two versions of 3d stuido max.

So its not very good then?

...from the past year, viz is better render engine than autocad and max, but when they released the newer version, max and viz have almost the same panels.

I personally like the Mental ray render engine (which is in use across the Autodesk program platforms) than the old viz render engine.

it was good for its time, but there is newer and better rendering engines out now. They were developing Max and Viz at the same time which took alot of time and effort for two different programs that had near the same functionality, and looked identical in UI
