jthom203 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 i use autocad 2007, I am having an issue with layers and the Xref editor. when i enter the xref editor to clean it up, i like to change the colors of the layers so that what i add to it will be more visible on the finished product, but when i change the layers in the Xref editor and click save the layers revert back to where they were before the edit. any ideas? chelsea1307 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Ive had similar problems with autocad2009. Although ref edit works good for alot of stuff, some things seem to need to be changed in the origional dwg file and not through refedit. maybe someone else can shed some more light on it as to why Quote
skipsophrenic Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Have you tried going into the xref drawing and doing the chanfes in that, then re-opening your drawing and re-loading the x-ref? Quote
