importing DWG to 3D Max

I got a problem when I'm importing a DWG file into Max.
The lines look like a very rough sketch, I can hardly understand the building plans.
I added a JPG...

Whats causing it and how do I resolve it.

It's a little difficult to see what's going on there. Can you zoom in on one particular area?

I'm assuming this is a 3D model that you've Imported?
