What am I missing? I wish to copy an Acad file to Sketchup.

While in the Acad drawing, I click File/Export, get an Export data dialog box, choose a destination folder and click Save.

I've done this four times and each time, when I check the folder in Explorer, there is no file of that name.

There is only one file type available, .wmf or Metafile.

In addition, I've done a hard drive search for a file of that name with no results.

You don't need to Export anything from Autocad. Just open Sketchup and Import your dwg file.

When you use import with sketchup & browsing file, don't forget to change

file type for dwg format!

Yes, I tried importing on the SU end soon after posting. Thanks for the help.
