AutoCAD2009 How do I get rid of a chosen background image?

I just jumped from AutoCAD2005 to AC2009. Here it seems that one hasn't got the choice any more to remove a chosen background image and go on with the default AC2009 background. I know the option to select a solid colour instead but that is not the same as the default background. Anyone got an idea?

Thanks a lot. You probably mean to restore the various background colours? I tried but that doesn't work in my (full) version. I can only replace the image by a solid colour, but no way to get rid of that one.

What do you mean when you say "background image"? Maybe a screenshot will help clarify?

For ex. if I have to render a building for a presentation or I even have to implant it into it's future environment. I select an image (a photo) using the command "background". In AC 2005 you can get rid of the photo by simply selecting, "default AutoCAD background". This option doesn't exist any more in vers. 2009. Here I can only replace the photo by an other one or by a solid colour, but the default settings (horizon etc.) are lost.

Ok, it wasn't clear that you were talking about a background image for 3D work. I have moved your question to the 3D Modeling and Rendering section. Maybe someone with 2009 can help you.

First you need to create save view or camera view. Then you can edit your

background with your save view or camera view from view manager dialog box.:)

Thanks, but that brings me to the same window that I get with the command "background". And there they obviously forgot to add the option "default autocad background"
