van helblaze Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 I'm using Autocad both at school and at home, but for some reason I can't render at home. My computer runs the program just fine, but I can't render properly. All that is rendered is the two mirrored materials. Everything else is gray. arjun_samar Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 big bro welcome to the forum, are you using the same acad version at home and at school? Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 More importantly do you have the same materials libraries Quote
van helblaze Posted January 6, 2009 Author Posted January 6, 2009 Yes I am using the same version as in school, I got the download file from my teacher's computer. I have access to the full materials library on my compuer, but only the two mirrored objects will work. Quote
mugshot Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 i think you must reload all the materials to of which you copied all the necessary files... using the same materials on different unit will ignore the materials applied... i think so.... Quote
van helblaze Posted January 7, 2009 Author Posted January 7, 2009 I did go to reaply them to my objects, but it doesn't make any difference. Quote
papagyi Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 :)Can you post "screen shots" for your material setting & render result or dwg? Quote
van helblaze Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 not a problem for the moment, we stoped using the materials that are included in the program. Now we have to make our own, which works better on my machine than in school. I've also noticed that even though the materials are in the correct place, the program seems not to be registering them.
