Dipali Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Yesturday I learnt from one of the other thread to do this -scalelistedit reset yes exit now when I use it, it works but if I close the file & reopen it, the annoying xref scale list is back & have t do this again, everytime I reopen the drawing. can it be reset permenantely? Or is it similar to 'ucsfollow 1' which i have to do evrytime If i want to rotate ucs:( Quote
ReMark Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 With new commands come new problems. I almost think they are self-inflicted. Be that as it may, would the following be of any use? http://cadpanacea.com/node/97 Quote
tzframpton Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 There's also a utility that you can download. http://autodesk.blogs.com/between_the_lines/2008/04/scale-list-clea.html Quote
tzframpton Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Also you can put this code in your ACADDOC.lsp file: (command "-scalelistedit" "r" "y" "E") This is what I have done for us at my office. Now every drawing that opens we have a fresh Scalelist that never has the leftovers from XREF's. Quote
nocturne00 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Hi dip; Did the scales appear right after you've immediately reopened it? xref scales, or any scales ont he scalelist for that matter are usually carried over when you copy any object from a file with bloated scales. Then again if you have xrefs attached to the file itself with "xref scales", they will definitely load the scales after you've reopened even after you've cleaned then up on the previous session Quote
