edgarcia897 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Here's the deal. I set up a drawing, go into options, project files search path and give the project a name. I then tell it where to look for the xrefernces, and it works fine until one of my coworkers opens the drawing and the xreferences are not there. I understand it's a different autocad program so you have to tell it where to look for the xreferences too. So, he too goes to options, project files, names the project and tells it where to look for the xreferences. So, now he can see the xreferences. So, next time I try to open this same file the references have been lost. So, I have to go into options, project file search path and set current the project again. Is there a way to fix this where we can both open the drawing and see the xreferences without loosing them. Thanks in advance. Edgar Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Are the source files for the XRefs stored on a shared network? Quote
edgarcia897 Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 All files are stored on a server. Quote
cadmantom Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Dont know if this will help but ive got two ideas and have both worked for me in the past, but first are the xrefs in the same folder as the drawing your working on? if not place them into the folder or zip the xrefs and main drawing together on the server and work though the zip file. If its still not good, then come back to us. Quote
