christreeroot Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 On a fresh install of Civil 3d 2009 everything works great apart from AutoCad 2009. The ribbon appears blank, my question is - is there a quick way to get the default ribbon up ? I know it is probably a simple thing but has got me stumped at the moment. Thanks in advance.. Quote
ReMark Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Is the Menu Browser (Big red "A" in upper left corner) visible in the upper left hand corner of your screen? Quote
ReMark Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Try typing the word RIBBON at the command line. Tell me if that worked. Quote
christreeroot Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 Thanks for the reply, the suggestions havent worked, where the ribbon should be it say; the ribbon does not have any tabs or panels currently loaded. If you go into autocad classic view it is fine, just the 2d & 3d section. Quote
ReMark Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 From AutoCAD Help: "To display the ribbon panels associated with a specific workspace, click Tools menu > Workspaces. Then select a workspace." Any luck now? Quote
chelsea1307 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 try repairing your install. This happened to me and it was the only thing that worked. Either you accidently moved or deleted the files associated with the ribbon or they didnt load properly when you installed Quote
