Primal Scientist Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 All I am currently working on a big street scape project that is broken down in to phases (1 - 16). My problem is this: We have just finished Phase 1 and I have begun my As Builts. What I have noticed is that Phase 2 is opposite Phase 1 and Phase 3 is next to Phase 1!! I need to mask out Phase's 2 and 3 but I'm not sure how to actually mask them out!! Has anyone one ever had this problem? Can anyone give me any ideas at all? Thanks Daz Quote
BIGAL Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 We grey out in your case stage 1, but leave it all there use colour 253-255 for all layers of stage 1! Make sure you save each stage seperatly then you can always undo. Even if plotting colour the greyed out symbolises not part of this stage. Quote
Primal Scientist Posted January 15, 2009 Author Posted January 15, 2009 Yeah, its a real pain! Thanks for the feedback! Can anyone recommend any good books regarding Haching Ideas? Thanks Quote
wannabe Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I would personally create a layer group and then globally set each layer, using and stb setting to a lighter colour. Viewport overrides can also be considered depending on how intricate your drawing is. Quote
