Autocad Mep 2009 Express tools problem

I tried a search because I think this has been discussed before but I couldnt find anything...I just reinstallled autocad mep 2009 on a new computer and i'm having a problem with the express tools. I brought over my profile and everything and most of all the transfer seemed to go ok. But the Express tools pulldown, when I go to any of the flyouts, I have question marks next to everything. So they dont work. Typing in the commands doesnt work either. In the CUI file I see the express pulldown and everything is listed. I tried unloading and reloading the menus also...Does anyone know how to fix this?

From memory, cuz my icons work properly...

First be sure the Express folder is in your support path

Open CUI, set your Customization CUI to be acetmain.cui

Expand the Menu till you get to the command level

Select a command, in the Button image click edit

Select Open, navigate to the Express folder and select the appropriate .bmp

IIRC the rest of the icons should then display the correct icon.

The problem isnt so much getting the icons back...Maybe they will fix themselves once I figure out the problem....More importantly is that they dont work when I click on them...It says unknown command

Try typing Expressmenu at the command line.

The express tools that aren't working, were they custom created? Did you ever modify any of the commands using the ALIASEDIT command? Is there a possibility that you had changed the ACAD.pgp file?

In your CUI, rt-clk on the Partial CUI Files, select Load partial customization file, navigate to and select acetmain.cui.

If that fails. try going into Windows Add/Remove Programs for Autocad and click on Add or Remove features, select Express Tools

It was showing up under the CUI. and up top when I "menuload"ed......Thats what had me even more confused...So I figured they had to be installed...But I did what you said and went to add/remove....and there was an "x" next to the express tools....Even though they looked loaded, they obviously weren't for whatever reason...Thanks, that worked
