Hidden Lines

I am currently using the MEP 2009 software. I am modeling in 3D and having problems with the hidden lines. For example, I am designing a chiller system, the chiller is a higher elevation than the pipe which I am connecting to it. The objects under the chiller are displayed as a hidden linetype automatically (different color, linetype, lineweight, etc.). Is there anyway to change these properties or even turn this feature off? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Format -> Options -> MEP Display Control.
Playing around with these options should resolve the issue.

Another thing you can do is >right click >edit object display ....then click the little box in the right hand corner and turn off hidden lines.........this will apply only to the object selected instead of the hole drawing.....:)
