Recomend a plotter????

Hi all,

I am new to AutoCAD however I am enjoying the steep learning curve.

My question as the title would suggest is about plotters-

Could you guys/girls please offer some recommendations for an A0 plotter?

I will then go to my company for funding. I had a quick look on Google and came up with a 5k and 7k option! I am sure there must be a 'quality budget' model out there?

I would prefer colour, however if black and white is considerably less expensive then it may be an option.

I am UK based, hence spell checker is underlining colour for me!

Many thanks

every drawing office ive worked in seem to use HP's T series plotters for colour. They're pretty darn quick for an inkjet.

Im pretty sure you could pick up an old black & white laser for cheaper tho. of course theres little point in opting for laser if you're not producing hundreds of drawings

What is your budget and what other requirements do you have?

How many linear ft/min do you require? Or better yet, how many sq/ft do you plot per month?
