mikef Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I am running acad 2008, aftre recently installing Solid Works 2009 I hav found that when I open Acad, a Solid Works customization file is loaded. This is causing drawing opening and saving to be unacceptably slow. How can I stop this file being loaded? I have no need for SW and Acad to be connected in any way. Quote
borgunit Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Check in the AutoCAD folders for a file named acad.rx (a text file). See if there are any references to "SolidWorks looking" files. Make a backup of the file, delete the suspicious line from the text file, then save it. See what happens when you start next time. Quote
mikef Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 Brilliant, nice easy fix. Thank you. Quote
