I havent been able to get this to work out properly yet. I have been playing around with modeling a shock for a motorcycle. In the past i have modeled air cylinders and driven the pin constraint to initiate movement, this doesnt work in the dynamic simulation and I can seem to get anything to work.
Ive tried using a transitional constraint in the assembly application, selecting the smaller cylinder and the inside of the larger cylinder, but that didnt seem to work.
I have tried using the spatial constraints in the dynamic simulation but I cant seem to get that to work right either. It probably has to do with my selection process.
Has anyone modeled something like this before?
I am able to add a spring/damper in the sim and attach it to points on my clevis ends but i still need the damper rods to stay aligned.
Thanks in advance.
