I would like to draw the say rectangle with dimensions of the 5000x6000mm .I tried to draw this rectangle but it is going of out of workspace .I want to print this rectangle as dimensions showing 5000x6000mm could any body help form selecting limits and scaleing and plotting

Have you tried to zoom extents say?

 

Try in the command prompt: "zoom" "e"

 

As for scaling, create a viewport in one of the layout tabs and scale the viewport to suit the size of rectangle you are using.

 

There are many ways to scale the viewport:

 

  • Click on the outer rim and click properties and type the scale there.
  • Double-click inside the vp and type "zoom" then say "1/5xp" (zooming the vp to 1:5 scale (xp = relative to paperspace).

Once zoomed, remember to lock the vp by clicking on the outer rim and again, properties, and "viewport locked" click "yes".
