Tankman Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Been a rough, ugly week, replacing HDD's, reinstalling, yada, yada, yada. How's, guess I didn't look too hard, one to change the file name display? ACAD vs. 2005. I don't need the whole kabootle, long file name, displayed. Just a simple thisisit.dwg'll be fine. It is Friday, like to get this done before the party at skipso's. Quote
profcad Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Does the name not appear at all? The drawing name should be on the title bar by default. Under Options->Open & Save Tab, there is an option to display the full path in title. I know you didn't want the "whole kabootle", but that is the only option that I see in AutoCAD 2005. Quote
Tankman Posted January 23, 2009 Author Posted January 23, 2009 I did have a file name, including the entire "string." Now, I have the file name, file name only. Nice! No long string included. A pleasure hearing from OK. Years ago, mid 60's, I did the steel work in Norman, OK at the university. A fun place to spend a few months working. I then went to other universities building dorms. A great place to work in the midwest. TANKS again. Quote
