Can't select objects on Defpoints

I can't seem to select some of the objects that are on the layer defpoints. I've had this happen in both Model and Paper space. Anyone know what's going on?

Turn on, thaw layer 0

That's so funny. We just figured that out about 2 seconds ago. We've been trying to figure that out for weeks! Murphy's law.
