Slice

How do i slice my 3d view on a drawing. I have tried slice, but it asking me to point at some sketch? I assume I have to return to assembly view to mark where I want the slice to occur.!

are you trying to slice in a .idw file or in a iam.

Click on the idw view and sketch the cutting plane line. If you can't figure it out zip and attach a small sample data set.

I figured It out, very simple I just mark a cutting line in the same manor as for the 2D views. It just tooked a while to make It work since I need to click in a slight fifferent way.
