lula Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 My viewports show all the annotation scales set for my Dimensions, I have annotated dimensions of 1:200 & 1:100 in my drawing some I want to show in a scaled viewport of 1:200 and others in a viewport of 1:100 but when I create the viewport for 1:200 it shows both sets what is happening. Not had this problem before in other drawings Quote
efo Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 create 2 paper space for each of your drawing,or use one layout make it 2 viewports, set your scale each of viewports and make sure your viewport is locked. Quote
ammobake Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 This is the exact reason I do not even tinker with annotation scales. If you put all the annotations on one layer you can still turn off all the annotations whenever you want. I have one text, dim, & multileader style that I use in model space. I have one text, dim, & multileader style that I use in paper space. If I need to put dimensions, text, or multileaders in paper space, it's as simple as dropping it in and changing the height to the exact height I need. If I put in 3/16" text, the text will always be 3/16".. If I put in dimensions with 6" text, the text will always be 6". By doing that I can completely avoid having to mess with manually altering properties, annotation scales, dimscales, or any of that. Gotta keep it as simple as possible. Autocad is complicated enough already. IMHO. -ChriS Quote
