ReMark Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Welcome to the CADTutor forum leandro. I believe that Fire Alarm CAD is actually a company that will assist with design of a system. Might you be referring to AlarmCAD? See link: http://www.alarmcad.com/alarmcad/default.aspx Quote
leandro Posted January 29, 2009 Author Posted January 29, 2009 thanks for your answers!I work in the fire alarm industrie and i just received an alarmcad advertising, i checked their web page but it didn't say nothing abaout "riser diagram" Quote
ReMark Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 No, it did not. I tried looking for it myself but came up empty. Give the company a call and ask them directly. Quote
Fire Alarm Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I know this is almost a year old, however, I myself was trying to get alarmcad for the company I work for. I spoke with a rep and yes as you design the system, the program automatically addresses, does battery calcs, voltage drop calcs, and your risers. Last time I was in contact with the rep the program either independent of autocad or an add-on was around $4,000 per seat. Then around $4,000 to renew per license per seat. Very expense. This is the reason why I could not get it approved, but my thought process is to get if I save half the time on all jobs then it should pay for itself (depending on how big the jobs are) in a job or two. Again I know this is late, and you may or may not have received this info already. Quote
