enemigoman Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Hello: I have a drawing files which originally had its units set to Decimal/Meters. I need to change them to Architectural/inches. I changed the units (Format/Units...), but then everthing that was 1m long is now 1" long. I've been told to scale all the drawing entities, but I would like to know if there is any command that can do this automatically? Thanks Quote
ReMark Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 You too might benefit from this AutoDesk University class handout: http://augiru.augi.com/content/library/au07/data/paper/GD405-3.pdf Quote
rkent Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Use the SCALE command. First thaw and turn on all layers. Start SCALE, select ALL, pick a reference point, Type R for reference, now type 25.4 (if milimeters, 0.0254 if meters) enter, now 1 enter. There is no button in AutoCAD for what you want to do. Then use UNITS command and change to Arch. Quote
