iamlegend Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 I have entered some text into my drawing, however, it is too small, how do i now go about increasing the size of it? Quote
rkent Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Is the style you used Annotative? If not, pick it and use properties. Or SCALE it. If mtext, double click on it and adjust the size there. If Annotative, change the anno scale for your eventual plotting scale. Quote
ReMark Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Highlight the text then right-click. In the pop-up box click on Properties. In the Properties dialog box look under the heading Text for the word Height. Change it here. Just out of curiousity, how did you assigned the height of your text in the first place? And, are you using single line or multiline text? Just so we are all on the same page. Little details like this can be important as every question can have multiple answers depending on the choices you made in the beginning. Quote
ReMark Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 I would only scale text as a last resort. Quote

Im using single line, i believe. Quote
ReMark Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 "It may have been the default setting?" The default settings are Text style: Standard and Text height: 0.2000. Both can be changed using Style command (at the command line) or by going to the Annotate tab, Text panel and clicking on the Text Style icon in the upper right corner. "Im using single line, i believe." Single line text, also known as DText, can be selected from the Annotate tab, Text panel, the small "A" to the right of the words Multiline Text. Is that what you used? Quote
ReMark Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Note: When using Single Line Text the user is prompted with the words Specify start point of text or [Justify/Style]: After picking your start point but before doing anything else you have the option of overriding the default text height of 0.2000. Just type your new height at the command line, accept the rotation angle default of "0" and begin entering your text. The next time you use single line text the new default text height will be whatever you changed it to the last time you used it. Quote
