Command: Manick Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I thought I found the answer myself, because I did a google search and read that the customize files were named with an extension .cui, but then I read it came from .enu. I tried doing a windows search on the C: drive for both of those extensions, on one of the many computers I use on my campus, but came up with no results. I even had all hidden files/folders unhidden and displayed. Not sure if this really matters, but one thing I noticed with these campus PCs is that they seem to reset most settings every time they restart (even the resolution). In short, I still have no clue how to import/export any settings I make to my workspace or toolbars between computers. I could make one for each computer, but that would be very troublesome. I would be forever thankful for any advice you might have. Quote
Tiger Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Go Tools - Options and the Profile Tab and export your Profile (after you're made all the changes that you need though) and save it somewhere appropriate. Then when you log on to a different computer - go Options - Tools - Profile tab and Import Profile and tada! (hopefully ) Quote
ReMark Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 enu refers to a folder under local disk C:/ Documents & Settings / [username] / Application data / AutoDesk / AutoCAD 2008 / R17.1 / enu / etc. It does not refer to a file extension. Quote
ReMark Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 If you go one folder further down the line, to Support, that's where you'll find the acad.cui, acad.bak.cui, custom.cui and custom.bak.cui files. Quote
