Layer not changing colour

Hi all

I have tried to change a a layers colour e.g the lights on the drawing, everything is on in the properties and the right colour and is set to layer. If i highlight it it shows the right colour which is red but on the drawing it stays yellow even match properties wont work.

Any ideas pls.

Are the objects colours set to bylayer?

Does the yellow you've assigned as yellow appear yellow when printed?

Are the lights blocks perhaps?

Your a star yes they were , xplode them then they changed, or use block editor to change them all at once.
