flopner Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I've been using Autocad 2000 for some time and now am using 2009, when I plotted in 2000 i set the layout space for the desired drawing size by setting it to a plotter and picking B or C dwg etc. If I wanted to plot a B dwg on an A size sheet i would just switch the plotter before actually plotting. In 2009 i'm using page setup and the plotting page but can only get an A sized layout, probably something simple but??????????? Quote
flopner Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 Well if i use the layout wizard i can get the ansi dwg i want and then change back to a different size during actual plotting but it's still a little off center and i'm using the center the plot button................. Quote
ReMark Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 The sheet sizes are dependent on the plotter/printer you're using (a function of the driver). What make/model plotter/printer are you using? Quote
flopner Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 I figured out if i use the layout wizard and only define the layout size by choosing "none" for printer and title block and viewports i can get the layout i want then insert a title block and create a viewport once in the layout, then when i pick the plotter page it will recognize my printer and scale the drawing back to letter size. thanks for the driver tip though!
