kellenhaskell Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I have been a member of Cad Tutor for a while now, i absolutely love it for all the useful information and help it provides. But one thing that ive always wanted whether its from this site or another is somewhat of a gallery, blog, or discussion of more of the artistic side of CAD based drawings. I personally do all type of cabinetry as well as wood door and moulding work and am always pushing my drawings to be the best they can. As i browse through Cad Tutor i run into alot of people that have very different careers but the same ideas when it comes too design. I see pictures that are attached to threads or even the contest uploads of renderings that people have created. But unless i dig for all this information its very hard to find all these nice renderings and drawings again. I have searched google as well as cad tutor and still cant find a website that is what im looking for. I would like a place to just strictly view drawings and renderings from people in whatever career, maybe discuss my own drawings or have a discussion with someone about theres, gather recommendations and view various pieces for inspiration. Somewhat of an "art Exchange" not block exchange or material, or even tutorials...just an online community of fellow drafter/designers alike If anyone knows any good links please post. I have checked out the Link page on Cad Tutor and have been unsuccesful to find this Quote
shift1313 Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 the only site i found was a site based off 3d car drawings but the name escapes me. I am part of the autodesk student community and there are a lot of images uploaded there and you can make comments on the renders. I think this site isnt geared towards what you are asking even though there are some brilliant renders here and some very talented members!! Maybe you can search for 3ds or 3d animation forums. Quote
