Usin' an add on program, pipe, fittings, etc.

When inserting, usin' '07, a 2" ANSI flange 6" dia, I get a huge flange

152.4 measurement.

I have to use the UNITS command and change from millimeters to inches then I get the proper 6'Ø dia flange.

Where would I change the options so that all drawings units are set to inches?

Ok, admitted, slow. :?

Good thing tomorrow is Friday. Right skipso?

Insunits? ....

Tried it, default is indeed '1', didn't work.

Typing UNITS at the command line works every time, every drawing.

But, need to use UNITS each new drawing I open. :?

I also have '05 installed, never a problem.

Format menu Units then autosave your work space settings.

Didn't work across the board.

In '05 never a problem, '07 continually defaults to millimeters.

whats the add on program tank. and does it have an export option?

Set up a template with the correct units already established?

Then write your congressman to get off his lazy bottom and switch to the metric system so you don't have to deal with the stupidity of imperial measurements and scales ever again.

Sorry but no export option.

As I stated all's fine usin' AutoCAD 2005.

Using AutoCAD 2007 works ok only if I use the command "units."

From the menu, I change from mm's to inches, then all's fine.

I was just lookin' to avoid using the command line "units" entry every time I open a .dwg file when using AutoCAD 2007.

Having a somewhat similar problem on CAD 2009. My school uses metric but I am allowed to change for this project. Did the Format/Unit change at the begining. For some reason I hit inches instead of feet. It won't change to feet and new ones with feet don't work either. I really don't want to redo my floorplan, but my teacher could not get it to work. Any help out there?
