Upgrade to mechanical?

I am using autocad 2009 LT at work, is there possible to upgrade my version of autocad to an mechanical with some kind of expansionpack, or do I have to buy the whole program?

There is no expansion pack for a LT to mechanical upgrade. The best you might be able to do is get the authorized reseller to discount the price of the full mechanical package since you are already an AutoDesk customer. Can't hurt to ask especially in this economy.
