I encounter jagged edges in Inventor 2009 (64-bit) Even i Render the part the edges are left. But when I return to part mode again the jagged edges dissapear? But same issue If I restart Inventor??

Is the part very long compared to it's width, for example, like a pipe? There is a solution for this but I would have to search for the answer.

Yes it is actually, but I also checked a small tower i have created, over the windows are there arcs, and they are also jagged...

I noticed one more thing, If I open a part (or assembly) It starts with jagged edges, but If I enter some sketch to edit, and just finish sketch without doing anything, also in this case the jagged edges dissapear? Must be some kind of problem in Inventor 64 bit i think..

In an assembly I think the part isn't fully loaded into memory (and thus the jagginess) unless you edit the part. As you have found out you can simply right click on the file name in the browser and select Edit and then Return.

There is a setting in Tools>Application Options>Display but I have not found it to fix the specific behavior you describe caused by very long length to cross section ratio.

That sounds logically, but when i save my .IPT or .IAM and open up these file in Deep exploration to convert them to f.ex. .3DS the jagged parts are still showing in the .3DS file??
