I made a simple doorblade, I want to put wood decal on It. I make one work plane little above the door, import my picture, constrain It. But when I do Decal It places the pattern on wrong side of the door. On the backside. I have tried different options in Decal command but without no sucess. Why can´t I choose the front plane closest to picture?

Why not just change the material/color display to wood? Or is this decal a specific shape?

I don't know the specifics but something tells me you should flip the normal direction on your work plane. Right click on the plane to do this. I don't know why I say that, but it might work. If not, we can always try something else.

I managed at last, the sketch must be placed directly on the surface to work. But I will try your example also....

Well if you got it to work that's good. My idea was just a hunch.

No, you had something else going on. Zip and attach the file here.
