Heyas, im wondering how or where do you change the setting for the default location of a view label. Using my style settings it always sets on the top of the view, which i then have to move down to bottom of the view manually everytime. I thought this was impossible to change until i changed the style to JIS (or something else) and placed a view to find it defaulted the view label to the bottom. But i cannot find anywhere or any setting that seems to make this setting standard for my style.
Anyone know how to do it?

Open the template that you use for your standard.idw. Under the Styles and Standards editor, under the standard dropdown on the left hand side, click on your default style. Then on the right hand side, click the view preferences tab, there is a tick box there for placement saying above or below. I am also including a pic to show a little better.
Hope this helps,

I knew it would be this simple but for me of course it isnt, as there is no "view preferences" tab

I didn't know that you were using 2008. They made this change for 2009. I still think there might be a setting for 2008, but not sure where it is located. Maybe somebody with 2008 will chime in soon.
Sorry I couldn't help more.

Makes sense they made it more visable in 2009. Its obvious that u can set it somewhere as changing styles to something where its default and you can see it works. Oh well will just have to get 2009 =/
