Autocad Architecture Doors

Can anyone tell me why when I insert a door into a wall it does not 'cut' the wall. What settings do I have to change to make it work?

Wild guess, your head or threshhold height may be putting the door outside of the cutplane. Double check that the height is accurate. Other than that...you're not really providing a lot of information to go off of.

Have tried that thanks but it still doesn't seem to work. I think it may be something to do with AEC Object settings in the options menu but I'm not sure.
