hongman Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Hi there First off let me explain that I have 0 knowledge in the usage of AutoCad, I am a technical consultant for a company who is having this problem. They are using AutoCad LT 2008, on a PC spec'ed at 3Ghz, 2GB Ram, Windows XP SP3 32bit. This is the only user in the organization that uses AutoCad. They were getting a random error of FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e06d7363h Exception at 7c812aebh I looked about online and found many people pointing to the recent files list, so disabled this and everything was running fine for 2 weeks. Just the last 2 days however this has come back, and the the only specific information I can get is it only happens when they are "Trimming". At a loss...Can anyone help? If you need to know anything more specific about the usage of the program please word it and I will relay the request - thanks! Quote
ReMark Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 First. Is AutoCAD Service Pack 1 loaded? If not, then you might want to start here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=5837292&linkID=9240618 Try out the program. Does the problem still persist? Quote
ReMark Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Second. After installing the service pack use the REPAIR option on the installation CD/DVD. Do NOT uninstall and then reinstall AutoCAD LT. This step should really be saved as a "last resort". This isn't MS Windows where uninstall/reinstall is the most common given solution to a problem. Try out the program. Does the problem still persist? Quote
ReMark Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Third. I just stumbled across this. It might be of some use. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=9450349&linkID=9240617 Let us know how you make out. Quote
hongman Posted March 4, 2009 Author Posted March 4, 2009 I dont think SP1 is installed - at least Help > About didnt say SP1 was. I will try the steps below when Im next onsite, thank you very much. I will come back here if there is still a problem of if it re-emerges! Much Appreciated. Quote
hongman Posted March 4, 2009 Author Posted March 4, 2009 Oh, have already tried Step 3. Method1 doesnt apply, the version is different to that listed. Method2 is what I had done first and worked for 2 weeks before the problem re-appeared. Downloading the SP1 now, I will install it overnight and ask the user to report back. Quote
ReMark Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 "Method1 doesnt apply, the version is different to that listed." My bad. Find, download and install the service pack for LT 2008 if it hasn't been done already then. Quote
hongman Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 Well, since I last updated I had installed SP1, and it worked without erros til Yesterday - now it has come back :/ FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e06d7363h Exception at 7c812aebh Any other suggestions please? Thanks Quote
ReMark Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 That's twice now you have had the problem go away and then reappear. What changes? Quote
